Dana Marshall graduated with Distinction from the University of Western Ontario, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Health Science.  She went on to complete the 4-year, post graduate Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).  In her third year of study, she completed an elective medical rotation in Nicaragua with Naturopathic Doctors International (NDI).  This was a truly humbling experience and turning point in Dana’s life which gave her a new perspective and tremendous appreciation of life.

Dana is a passionate and enthusiastic person who is excited to educate the people within her community on ways to better their health using Naturopathic medicine.  She strongly believes in the inherent ability of the body to “heal thyself” and creating a good foundation of health through diet and lifestyle modifications as a means of preventing illness.

Dana has a general family practice and especially enjoys working with women and children through the different stages of life.  After the birth of her son Colby, she has become particularly fascinated with the simplicity of natural remedies in treating young children.  She also has a special interest in chronic pain and inflammatory conditions, weight management and digestive disorders .  Dana is also a certified practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and is licensed in Parenteral Therapy.

Susan Joyce BSc (Hons), N.D.

Dr. Susan Joyce attended Queen’s University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Biology. She then went on to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she completed the 4-year program to become a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.

Susan maintains a general family practice, working with people of all ages to help them take control of their well-being. She dives into all aspects of their health – including stress levels, sleep patterns, digestive concerns, diet choices and more – to help identify the root cause of their specific concerns.

While Susan enjoys working with all health concerns, she has a passion for addressing hormonal imbalance. She understands that women often feel frustrated by symptoms caused by PMS, endometriosis, painful and irregular periods, low functioning thyroid and more. She works with women throughout adolescence, perimenopause and menopause, helping to empower and educate, so that they can take more control over their hormonal health. A large part of her practice is also focused around fertility and helping women to achieve and maintain pregnancies.

Dr. Joyce is licensed and trained to prescribe bioidentical hormone therapy to her patients, which includes estrogen, progesterone and desiccated thyroid medication. After performing a thorough health assessment, she will discuss with her patients whether hormone replacement therapy is a good option for their health goals. She is a firm believer that her patients need to be active participants in the decision-making process about their future.

Dr. Joyce is also licensed to provide both Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D injections, and finds these can be of great value for patients suffering the symptoms of deficiencies.

In her free time, Susan loves to be at her cottage, swimming, boating and skiing, with her two daughters, Lucy and Maggie, her husband Andy, and their friends.
